I am originally from Portland, but lived in California for 12 years. I have mostly lived in the Bay area and have been on a quest for the perfect job and someplace to call home.
I just missed Portland too much and returned home in 1996.

My son, Mike who is a software programmer, lives in San Leandro and works for a company that writes Medical Tracking software. He does some really cool programming and composes music. He has put some of his stuff up on his web site.

My personal interests include: Computer Science and related subjects, music, reading and hiking (short ones, not backpacking). I am currently also studying Spanish.
