How I spend my time:

• Working for Sun Microsystems as a developer in the Solaris X Window System group.
• Participating in the new X.Org Foundation and contributing code to their releases (most notably the IPv6 support contributed by Sun to XFree86 4.4 & X.Org X11R6.7.0).
• Occasionally writing about what I'm up to in my blog at Sun. (Of course, nothing I say there is the official word of Sun, just my random thoughts.)
• Spend as much time as possible with the most wonderful woman I know (and I'm not saying that just because she's my wife 8-) [Yes, I know her home page has been down for two years since godzilla.eecs died - she's been too busy working on her other web site, doing her actual job, and playing EverQuest, to get around to reviving it.]

How I used to spend my time:

• Working on a variety of projects that interest me.
  (Yes, I know the link is broken - I have to get the files off of a disk in a dead machine or a backup tape one of these days.)
• Hanging out with the other members of the Computer Science Undergrad Association
• Volunteering as a system administrator at the Open Computing Facility
• Working (ever so slowly) towards my degree (B.A. Computer Science) at U.C. Berkeley
• Working on the Continous Media Toolkit at the Berkeley Multimedia Research Center
• Serving as the Undergraduate Representative on the Campus Computing & Communications Policy Board, and some of it's subcommittees, such as the Administrative and Student Services Computing Subcommittee, the World-Wide Web Steering Committee, and the Subgroup for Campus WWW Policy and Guidelines.

Random Personal Information:

• I was born in Ely, Nevada, and graduated from White Pine High School there almost 17 years later, but lived many places in between.
• And no, I'm no relation to the people who own CooperSmith's Pub & Brewing in Fort Collins, Colorado...but I own some shirts with their logo on.
