NAME qxterm \- terminal emulator for X with qool kwoting qapabilities.
SYNOPSIS
qxterm [-toolkitoption ...] [-option ...]
DESCRIPTION
The qxterm program is a hacked version of colour-xterm, which itself is based on xterm(1). It proves better pasting capabilities than xterm (1).
OPTIONS
The qxterm terminal emulator accepts all of the xterm(1) command line options as well as the the following:
This option specifies the string used to quote pasted lines. Defaults to "> ".
RESOURCES
This program understands all of the xterm(1) resource names and classes as well as:
Similar to -q.
POINTER USAGE
Once the VT102 window is created, qxterm allows you to select text and copy it within the same or other windows. The selection funcdtions are invoked just as they are with xterm, except for the quoting paste function. QXTerm provides the ability to paste a selection and have every line be preceeded by a quote string. This is useful in editing mail and ot her uses that involve quoting other sources. The quoting paste is invoked with shift-button2 by default, but can be changed through the resource database; see ACTIONS below.
ACTIONS
QXTerm has all the actions of the traditional xterm, with the addtion of the following:
This action inserts the string found in the selection or cutbuffer indicated by sourcename and preceeds each line of it with the quote stirng.
