This is an index of my JavaScript projects. Most of these were created as part of the HTML Writers Guild classes on JavaScript. The scripts from the earlier class work on Netscape 4.5-7. The later scripts work on IE 5. They may all work to some extent on other browsers but those are the only ones that have been tested so far.

Where shall we eat today?
Despite living and
working in France, a country fabled for its wonderful cuisine, the
choice of
restaurants at La Defense is limited to mall fare (which is no better in
France than in the US). In an attempt to make choosing restaurants less
stressful and less divisive for my colleagues and me, I developed this
random restaurant chooser so that we
would
not have to eat anywhere more than the laws of probability would
dictate. This
endeavor used several Math functions, originally a while loop, new
document
windows, and arrays. NOTE: Feel free to write me with suggestions if
you
think the logic is flawed and perhaps not truly random. This stuff makes
me
dizzy....! Feb. 1999
All scripts and pages are c. 1999 or 2001 by Cathy Gellis. No stealing! Though at this point I can't see why you'd want to... All comments/feedback/suggestions welcome. Friendy requests for borrowing material cheerfully entertained! Write to cathyg@csua.berkeley.edu
