I recorded something new tonight which seemed good enough to put online... it's unedited, as usual. You can download it here, or visit the music section.
Media update... first, the new songs:
- Chihiro Onitsuka - Innocence
- Massive Attack - dissolved girl (The Matrix)
- J. Ralph - One Million Miles Away
- The Churchills - Everybody Gets What They Deserve (Spin City)
Hearts in Atlantis looks really good. William Goldman penned the screenplay, based on the short story by Stephen King. Remind you of The Shawshank Redemption? That was also based on a short story by Stephen King. William Goldman, as you might know wrote The Princess Bride, among other things. Inconceivable!
Lastly, TV premieres. Friends, Dark Angel, Ally McBeal, Spin City, and Enterprise.

My very first Flash animation... but not here, you'll have to look at my graphic design web site, www.photonfx.com.7/30/2001
It's time for a change to this web site... I'm thinking of something with Flash, the rest of the web uses it, and it's gotten nifty enough that I've been messing around with it. It's about time I joined the rest of society, anyway. Other things to add would be less of my own petty thoughts and more substance -- you know, issues of the day, current events, and the rest of that crap. =)On that note, I'm leaving for Europe on 8/13, so who knows if this gets done before then. (Probably not, though)... Read: expenses paid vacation to Spain for two weeks. Ciao!

Mandy and Eddie are getting married today... more on this later in the day...5/03/2001
Japan was definitely an experience. One of the CDs I picked up in Ginza is this nice little number by Do As Infinity. It's got a similar sound to Goo Goo Dolls, but with the J-pop twist. Ah well. Time to check out. Plane is at 4pm.3/27/2001
The Matrix R&D Team has split from the rest of Manex. (Essentially, the brains behind Manex left to form ESC). Anyway to be safe, I won't give more details, you can read about it here in the March 21 entry. WB is also shooting in downtown Oakland today.1/3/2001
Matrix II is filming in Oakland and Alameda. (And Matrix III) Did you know that Manex also worked on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? Largely previsualization of scenes, and compositing shots. (like the well-known floating on reflective water shot)1/2/2001
Wow, I live. Happy New Year! This is the farthest point from the next depressing holiday (watch When Harry Met Sally) for single people. My year (Snake) is coming up, too. So if I'm pisces, what does that make me? An eel? Unagi? I'm outta here!12/29/2000
4... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 3... 2... 1... Happy New Year 1996! After all, it's only a one second holiday.12/27/2000
I knew it would catch up with me. Run away! The Kamillions are invading! (a.k.a. A Movie I Was Never In)11/22/2000
Phone.com is now known as Openwave Systems. It's just really neat to be working on something that 20 million people worldwide will be using mid next year. I should be showing a demo of my stuff to Don Listwin a week from Monday. Hope it all works! Also: Cast Away. Starring Joe Banks and Jamie Buckman. Good stuff.

Sometimes things just work... Did a cool new recording today, you can download it from here. I tend to freeze up while recording, but the first minute of this captures the tune I had going this afternoon.10/08/2000

Some cool new MP3 CD players are coming out, check them out here. I've already got an MPTrip MP3 CD player, but I'm really set on the Pine model when it comes out. I'm either looking to get the Kenwood Z919 with titles, or the Aiwa w/o. The Kenwood doesn't come cheap at $650.![]()
