Wilkommen an meinem Homepage! Ich weiss, dass ihr kein Deutsch konnte,
aber ich weiss, dass ich kann!
Maybe you were expecting that, maybe you weren't, but either way...
you're here. And you might as well let the coolness flow through
your vertabrae!
My name is Geoff Cisler.
I am majoring in
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at
UC Berkeley,
with an emphasis in networking.
I'm 19 years old and I originally come from the lovely
suburb of Fremont, California. Luckily, I am out of there
and am a student at U.C. Berkeley.
But, right now, this year, I am on the Education Abroad Program at the
Georg-August Universität
in Göttingen, Germany. Pretty wild.
Here's my current address:
Gutenberg Str. 8/10
37075 Göttingen
Germany
I am constantly working with computers, and would have to say that I actually enjoy it. Last semester I participated in the University's Javanese Gamelan class, Music 140, which I wholly recommend for anyone who wants a different musical experience. I also spend my free time playing the didjeridu, an Australian Aboriginal musical instrument. I also speak German pretty well. Whenever I can, I love to hike and camp. My ideal world would be the fusion of nature and machine: instantaneous access to any forest, desert, ocean, or any climate, anywhere in the world, merely be typing in a simple URL. No, not VR, actual Reality. Or at least as real as you are here at my homepage.
First and foremost, I want to spend as much of my life traveling around this planet. I will probably go into the networking field, and possibly live in Germany. I really have no great desire to remain in the US, especially with things changing the way they are! I can't really tell my future, but I'm gonna damn well try to make it interesting!
