What's New?

• Now examines .IPS file before patching to verify that it is a good file.

• Can now handle the strange .IPS files out there which are missing the "EOF" final string.

• Will now work with patches which increase the size of the patched files, but warns about possible problems with these patches.

• No longer deletes files when there is an error because, File Errors aside, all errors are caught before the patch is actually applied. You should still have a backup of files before you patch them, though.

What is it?

IPS Patcher is a small program which will apply the .IPS patches distributed by the many ROM translation groups out there. Until now, Mac users had to download fully patched ROMs or else get access to a PC to apply patches if they wanted to get ahold of the translated ROMs. No more! =)

NOTE: Please be sure to read the accompanying readme file. It contains instructions on how to use the program, including possible errors encountered. Also, I will not respond to emails which ask questions that are clearly answered in the readme file.

ALSO: I do not know where to find ROM files or patch files, so DO NOT ASK.
