Glasses

I've worn glasses since some time in Junior High. At the time I thought it was the worst thing possible short of being disembowled by a pack of angry schoolgirls, and I pleaded desperately to get contacts. After outgrowing my shallow Junior High School sensibilities, and dealing with the constant stinging pain of contact lenses for a year or so, I finally realized that I like wearing glasses. I've worn them pretty much every day since then. I've grown so accustomed to wearing glasses that I think of them as an extension of myself.
