Judging by the number of web sites (and the number of hits this page gets), economics must seem quite dismal to the average person. And why not? Economics is more abstract than the physical sciences, yet also too exact to be a true social science. It's really somewhere by itself. I have created this page in the hope that it will hold some interest for everyone, whether if you have only experienced economics in high school, or like myself decided to make a living (eventually) at it.
