Example Character Generation

G:	Okay, do you have a character in mind yet?
P:	Yes.
G:	Alright, tell me some about him.
P:	Well, it's a her, actually. Her name is Chalia. She is, say, 
	about 50 years old. Is that okay?
G:	You get to decide her age. 50 is okay. As an Amberite, she will
	still look in her 20's. What does she look like?
P:	Well, she is in very good shape, and she is very good looking.
	She has dark features: long black hair, thick eyelashes, dark
	eyes. She is tall, but not really slender. More muscled, but not
	like some buff chick, or anything, just subtly strong.
G:	Alright. Has she spent much time in Amber before?
P:	Yes. She was born out in shadow, with her Amber parent watching 
	over things. Probably, that parent didn't want his or her 
	relatives to know about Chalia until she was old enough to 
	take care of herself. So, she grew in various shadows, learning
	different arts and skills her parent thought she should have
	as an Amberite. When she was 20, she wanted to see Amber, and 
	walk the Pattern. So, she did.
G:	Okay, we can go into the details of that experience later, but
	what did Chalia do after walking the Pattern?
P:	Well, she spent many years in shadows of her greatest desires,
	where she had every fantasy fulfilled, and went on many different
	kinds of adventures. She went to shadows that have quicker time
	streams than Amber, though, so not too much time would pass there.
G:	OKay. At some point you should give me some details on what sort of
	adventures Chalia went on, to help me have a full idea of what 
	she is like. But for now, tell me a bit about her personality.
P:	Okay, well, some of the details will partly be determined by who 
	my Amberite parent is, but I am going to assume that parent has 
	taught Chalia all about Amber. So, Chalia is well trained and 
	experienced with the art of scheming. She doesn't trust many people,
	but her natural tendencies are to be a, gulp, nice person. So
	that will be a big struggle for her in Amber, being ruthless
	while at the same time having difficulties with cruelty and
	betrayal. She considers herself very attractive, and has always
	spent time around shadow dwellers who told her so. So, other
	characters that she meets had better say so, too, or she will 
	really not like them at all. If anyone ever makes a joke about
	her appearance for any reason, she is liable to attack them
	outright. She is also very confident of her ability to take
	care of herself. She is well trained in the arts of subterfuge,
	and would have no problem spying or sneaking around. She does
	have a big problem with killing people, even shadow dwellers,
	but would never admit that to family.....
G:	Alright, lets see. Why don't you go think more about what the
	shadow was like that Chalia grew up in, and how the specifics of
	that place affected her. I will tell you who your parent is next
	time we meet. Then, you and I can sit down and decide what sort
	of attribute ratings you have, and figure out what powers you
	might have gained thus far in life......
