Miyel is eighteen years old. She has slightly dark brown hair and dark red eyes. Her hair is just beyond shoulder length and is rather thick. She usually places her bangs behind her ears. Often her hair will be placed in a ponytail or a bun. Her large collection of scrungees would astound most normal teenage girls. She has been pondering whether she should cut it short since it is hard to upkeep. But she enjoys wearing her hair in a ponytail, which wouldn't be possible to do if she cut it. So it has remained long to please her taste for ponytails and also to improve her looks since she believes that long hair is more attractive to guys.
Her dark red eyes aren't evil-looking in any way. They are a soft dark color full of life. Her eyes are very penetrating, which aids her in this perfected stare that often discomforts people. She uses this stare to show displeasure with a person or to conjole info out of them. She tries to use this stare conservatively, lest overuse lessen its effectiveness. The shape of her eyes is more oval rather than rounded. They are of medium size. Her eyebrows are somewhat bushy, so she is constantly plucking hairs from it to thin it out.
Eyelashes are a problem for her. Hers are short and unattractive. For formal events she will put on fake ones to improve her looks. But she doesn't enjoy doing this often since they annoy the hell out of her.
Her vision used to be poor when she was a kid. She wore thick glasses with thick rims. She shudders at the thought of those days. But now her vision is 20/20 due to the advanced opitical laser technology on her home shadow.
Her forehead is normal sized. Her bangs usually cover up at least half of it. Her hairline is at a normal place, not up on top of her head.
Her earslobes are not attached to the side of her face, but are loose. She has a pair of holes in each earlobe where she places small metal or plastic ornaments. (earrings) The top of her ears are rounded, not pointy like certain Starfleet science officers. Every morning she cleans her ears with a cotton swab. She likes clean ears since she enjoys having them nibbled on. (in a playful manner, of course. It's a big turnon to her. )
Her nose is one of her prized body parts. She thinks it is perfectly shaped and is correct in thinking so. No upturned nose with flaring nostrils. Discovering any pimples on her nose will instantly put her in a testy mood.
Her mouth looks delicate and petite. This is deceiving, however, since she has the ability to jabber incessantly. One mannerism of hers is her mouth becomes crooked when she is thinking hard about something. She doesn't wear much lipstick since her lips are pretty small. Also, her lips are full of deep red color, so she doesn't need much artificial coloring to contrast with the rest of her face.
She saves her smiles for when she is truly feeling happy. Small dimples appear around her lips when she smiles. She also has a different smile when she is feeling coy and shy. During this smile her lips come together, covering her teeth completely. Then the corners of her mouth turn slightly upwards.
Overall her face is oval-shaped and slightly tan. Hers is a pretty face, more cute than beautiful. Guys are not smitten over her facial appearance, but feel comfortable looking at her pleasing face.
Her neck is smooth and thin. She has a large mole on the back-right of her neck.
Her shoulders are slightly broad. Broad enough to not need to wear shoulder pads, but not so broad as to be a straight line across. They are somewhat bony; her collar bone and shoulder blades are easily visable.
Miyel is a skinny girl. She thinks she is just perfect, but in fact she does need to put on a little weight. Being tall (5'9) doesn't help flesh out her skinny body. She only weighs 120lb. She does watch her diet, refusing to eat too many fatty foods. But she is not trying to lose weight.
Her legs are long and of an athletic build. Her chest is smaller then average. But she really doesn't care about that. Her fingers are surpisingly fleshed out considering the rest of her frame. They aren't pudgy, but medium-sized. In comparison to the rest of the body, they are large.
