Anyone read any Alexandre Dumas? In both The Three Musketeers and The Count Of Monte Cristo are a wonderful amberite-type character. Each is very different, but both are perhaps the best examples in unrelated literature I have found.
So, regardless of whether you have read either in the past, if you read one (or both) of these books, and write me a little about which character from which book (it will be obvious which character from each book I am referring to) you thought was amberitian and who (s)he is similar or dissimilar from your character, I will give you some extra credit points.
The reason is, I want you to consider incorporating some of those ideas into your play, or at least acknowledge them, so as to strengthen your character in not acting those ways. They are just brilliant examples of machavelian or amberitian behavior. Not the only way, but a damn good way. If any one of the amberite elder women were anything like this one character I am thinking of, she would be queen right now.....
