Companies like WebTV are developeing technogies that enable people to use their own television for surfing the internet. This could have a profound impact on the music industry as live concerts are already available over the internet, but you have to watch it on your computer. A television internet connection allows for several users to view any given site all at the same time, a perfect oppertunity for musicians to widen their fan base.
