• Bleak Seasons. I'm a fan of Glen Cook's Black Company Series, but I read the books in hardback and buy them in paperback.
• She is the darkness. The latest Black Company book to come out in paperback.
• Philip and Alex's Guide to Web Publishing. This is one of my favorite guidebooks to databases and web-sites. I already read it on-line, but the paper copy is nice to have as a reference.
• Year's Best Fantasy and Horror. I buy this every year, in lieu of reading short stories as they come out in magazines. They do a good job.
• Star Wars: Episode One. I'm getting this for my brother's friend, who wants it. Neither of us are so shallow as to read this stuff.
