We're an SF-based start-up, and we've just launched a free bilingual social network in Japan, similar to Friendster and myspace, but with group and forum functionality like Tribe and Orkut.

We're aggressively looking for paid-promoters here in the Bay Area who either have friends in Japan or who have friends who have friends in Japan, and we're going to be offering cash for their help populating our site, with extraordinary upside for successful promoters.

We'll be paying our promoters 30 cents for every secondary invitee, or friend of a friend, in Japan who joins and posts a picture. So if you invited 100 friends and each of them invited 100 friends (in Japan with at least one picture), you'd be credited with 10,000 secondary invitees and wefd be paying you $3,000.

We believe that social networks have the potential to bring people together based on shared interests and passions and to promote the kind of dialogue that results in cultural awareness, tolerance, and social progress. But even if you don't necessarily agree, I think the economics wefre offering to promoters are extremely generous.
