Why RJR Cons?? Have you ever wondered what kind of interests might attract you to a particular major? Have you ever cycled through many different majors without finding one or a few majors that sparked your interest? Do you find yourself liking every major at UC Berkeley? Does the thought of declaring simultaneous degrees (two or more degrees in two or more different colleges, eg. Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering and Music in the College of Letters & Science) lead to nightmares and sweaty palms? Do you ever wish that L&S advising, Engineering advising, and other college advising get together to form UC Berkeley advising? We understand your situation. We have been in your shoes. We have pondered on many different majors and many different combinations of majors. One of us declared and was accepted into a Letters & Science (L&S) major for one day; on the following day, one of us became part of the College of Engineering. Another one of us became intrigued with the various combinations of majors. All of us have declared majors in at least two different colleges in our undergraduate years. Whether it is the question of 'which classes are easy to boost my G.P.A. for medical school or graduate school' or 'which classes will help me find a good job,' we will do our best in answering questions.
